| The restaurant was established in Florence in 1978.
The idea is was to give an alternative to the usual Italian cuisine, composed of single dishes and lacking fantasy.
The menu at Acqua al 2 was and immeadiate and notable success.
The fact that still today the menu hasn't had any substantial changes confirms this.
The menu is still the same... The name "Acqua al due" simpley comes from the original address of the restaurant (via dell'Acqua NĄ2).
Just in 1990 the location moved a few meters to the present address. Our staff invites you to dine in our elegant and suggestive atmosphere, right in the heart
of Florence.

| Don't know where to go because just arrive in town ?? Very easy Bar Il Cappuccino to Gianna e Lorenzo, they make for you the most delicious and tastefull CAPPUCCINO never had in your life! If are in hurry for launch or is hot why not a genuine express Panini with prosciutto toscano and Formaggio.. Don't believe it ? well try and than stop in the store to tell me how I was right or not. | This place is really fantastic if need somenthing fresh for your lance, I' ll recommend this place becouse all food is genuine and I know personally Francesco " I PIZZICAGNOLO and his wife Annalisa. Can seat inside with air conditioned or outside to eat with a little view of S.Croce and a few meters from my store. Ciao and...let me know. I almost forgot to tell you that if wish to have some wine to take away they have a pretty wide selection of Tuscans wine....! |

| The Trattoria "Mamma Gina", one of the city's reknowned typical trattorias, can be found right in the heart of mediaeval Florence, in historic Borgo San Jacopo on the way to the Ponte Vecchio.
Housed in a 15th century palace, it first opened in the early 1950's when Signora Gina started cooking meals for the workmen dredging sand from the Arno for use in the many building sites involved in repairing the damage left by the last war. |
