| La Casaccia is a charming old property in the hills of Alto Casentino with the River Arno flowing below and panoramic views of medieval casteles of Poppi and Romena against the background of the National Park of the Casentino Forests from Monte Falterona to the famous Sanctuary of St. Francis at La Verna.
The Borghini Family, residents of the Casentino Valley for generations, has completly restructured the original farm building respecting and maintaining the traditional country style of the area and using the same materials as in the past, stone, wrought iron, and the heavy chestnut wood found in the area.
The 15 hectares of La Casaccia were once cultivated with grains, fruit trees and wineyards. In fact, one of the farm buildings now a restored guesthouse, La Tabaccaia, was used as a dryng room for the tobacco grown on the plains below the property. Today the principal production of La Casaccia is tree for wood, (walnut and cherry), fruit and vegetables, grapes and olives.
Each apartment, five in all, is comfortably decorated with handmade furniture and all modern conveniences: cooking area, wood-burnng fireplace, independent heating, Satellite TV and a spacius area outdoors for dining and relaxation.
While one can still see signs of the farm's past such as the old well and the stone sink where the farmers' wives did their washing, all of today's comforts are present: ample outdoor parking, play area, and two swimming pools, one for adults (7mX14m) and one for children along with a solarium.
Below the main farmhouse was barn that housed the famous chianina cattle used to pull the plows in the fields. This space has now become a common room for socializing, reading,games, as well as an Internet Point.
The wine cellar of La Casaccia is still used today for the artisan production of wine from the grapes grown on the property.
The Borghini Family, who live on the property, are always available for information, help or needs of their guests. They are happy to organize visits to Tuscan vineyards, evenings at restaurants with typical Tuscan food and tasting of the local wines.

| HISTORY AND LEGEND
CREVOLE is located in the marvelous hill country south of Siena. In this historical citadel with its mythical atmosphere, traces of the ancient Celtic religious center are still visible.
The territory was contended by Etruscans and Romans, later by Popes and Holy Roman Emperors, but Crevole continued to maintain its sacred character as the pagan temple was transformed into a Christian church dedicated to Saint Cecily, patron saint of musicians from the Middle Ages.
The primitive Church of Saint Cecily was founded in the 4th century. Today some relics of the Saint are still conserved here.
Important works of art testify to the historical role of the church: the Piccolomini shield of arms mounted by Renaissance Pope Pius II, and the Duccio di Buoninsegna "Madonna of Crevole" dated circa 1280, now conserved in the museum of the cathedral of Siena.
The medieval town is now the seat of a cultural foundation and is also a theater for concerts of classical music. In this setting of medieval architecture, surrounded by rich forests, it is possible to relive the sensations of legend and history.

| La Civetta is a beautiful restaured house, near the town of Casciano di Murlo. From the top of its hill the view stretches from Siena to the Amiata Mountain.
The 40 square meters house is completely indipendent allowing you total tranquillity. A private driveway allows easy parking.
Surrounded on two sides by a private garden the rest of the house is in the middle of fields, vineyards and privately owned olive groves. A large covered terrace is situated at the entrance of the house, a perfect place to relax, sunbathe or use the barbecue.
The inside of the house is well lit and contains dining room, kitchen and living room with a pull-out double bed. The bedroom has a double and a single bed with two glass doors that lead directly to the garden. The large bathroom is equiped with a shower. The furniture is modern and cozy.
